Description
Home Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) has been increasingly used in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with chronic hypercapnic respiratory failure (CHRF). COPD Therapy is to help you breathe easier and get you back to your regular activities. If COPD is affecting your breathing, you'll usually be given an inhaler, this is a device that delivers medicine directly into your lungs as you breathe in.
Obstructive sleep apnea.
Home Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) refers to the provision of ventilatory support through the patient’s upper airway using a mask or similar device which is large range of interfaces designed for home use and expiratory port normally built into mask.
Application
Chronic Bronchitis is long-term inflammation of the bronchi. It is common among smokers. People with chronic bronchitis tend to get lung infections more easily.
Shortness of Breath, most of them are due to heart or lung conditions. Your heart and lungs are involved in transporting oxygen to your tissues and removing carbon dioxide, and problems with either of these processes affect your breathing.
Advantage
Intelligent preheating, avoid dry and cold.
10 abnormal alarms including low tidal volume.
CPAP mode, the patient has strong spontaneous breathing, and the ventilator provides the same pressure in both inspiratory and expiratory phases to help the patient open the airway.
S mode, the ventilator is triggered by the patient. IPAP and EPAP are provided, and patients control respiratory rate and I/E ratio and inspiratory time autonomously.
S/T mode, When the respiratory rate is less than the backup BPM, the S mode works. When the respiratory rate is more than the backup BPM, the T mode works.
